AI-powered community marketplace on Odoo
Overview
MyCommunitySales is a community garage-sale marketplace built on Odoo 18. We added two AI services to it: a listing optimizer that suggests a price, title, description and tags for each item, and a support assistant that answers user questions from the help knowledge base and raises a ticket when it isn't sure.
The challenge
Casual sellers struggle to price second-hand items and write listings buyers can find, and support teams spend their time answering the same how-to questions.

Price suggestions
Recommends a price based on the item and whether it is new or used.
Listing copy and tags
Generates a clear title, description and search tags for each item.
Odoo 18 add-on
Plugs into the marketplace's Odoo website so sellers get suggestions while listing.
Grounded support answers
The support assistant answers only from the help knowledge base, such as OTP login and creating listings.
Automatic escalation
When unsure, it writes a ticket summary for the support team instead of guessing.
Containerised AI services
Both AI services run separately in Docker, so they can scale and be updated on their own.
How it works
- A seller starts a new listing on the marketplace.
- The Odoo add-on asks the AI service for a suggested price, title, description and tags.
- Users with questions chat with the support assistant, which answers from the knowledge base with its sources.
- Questions it can't answer confidently become support tickets for the team.
